At a Special General Meeting held on Saturday 15th May, amendments to the Dorset Arts and Crafts Association constitution were approved unanimously by members.

The constitution held by the Charity Commission dated from 1967, when DACA was first registered as a charity, and did not reflect the way DACA has evolved and is run.    The trustees therefore proposed a series of resolutions, the impact of which was to generate an amended constitution to provide a firm basis for DACA for the foreseeable future.

The revised objects of the charity and the full amended constitution can be read here.
