Our judged competitions are open to everyone, whether you are a beginner or have more experience.

The competitions cover the areas of Photography, Fine Art and Crafts.   Whatever you create, there is a place for your work in the competitions.

The closing date for entries is Friday 10th July 2026. 

The basics

• Take a look at the different competitions on the Enter your Work page.    You’ll find everything you need to know about the requirements for your chosen competition and section.   Please read these carefully.
• This information is also available in the Competition Instructions.   You may read this document online or download and print it if you prefer.
• The judged competitions are open to members and non-members.    As a member, you will benefit from discounted entry fees.  Find out more about DACA membership here. 

Entry limits

• A maximum of three photographs across the five Photographic competitions.
• A maximum of three paintings across the three Fine Art competitions.
• A maximum of five items in the Craft sections, with no more than three items in any one section.

How to submit your entries

• Go to the Enter your Work page and choose your competition
• Choose the option that applies to  you and how many entries you want and add these to your basket
• Continue to select more competitions if you wish.
• When you are ready, view your basket and go to the checkout page.  This is where you’ll tell us details about yourself and your work, and pay for your entries.

We prefer you to submit and pay for your entries online.
