Hi, my name is Judy Churchill, and I am the owner of MollyRoseDesigns (find me on Folksy.co.uk). I have been crafting most of my life. First knitting in my teens, taught by my mother then sewing, again tutoring from my mother, who was a trained tailoress.
Family life then ensued with four children taking up most of my time. I did, however, find the odd afternoon to knock up some of their clothes. I have dabbled in card making, screen-printing and jewellery making.
More recently I was lucky to inherit some money which enabled me to purchase a very expensive embroidery machine, and another passion took hold. I still sew most days as I love making bags, but I don’t do much dressmaking now as most of my time is taken up finding new things to embroider. I get inspired by new designs I see, or I have an idea and then I search for a design.
