Having come from a very academic background, I am enjoying a quieter pace of life, stitching beautiful landscapes in my home in the New Forest. All my pictures are hand-painted, hand-stitched, sometimes embellished with beads, felt, lace, ribbons and whatever I can find that adds a special little touch. Sometimes, if I’m feeling brave, I might use a sewing machine to add some grasses, but I really prefer the peace and quiet of slow stitching. I put my heart and soul into each piece and sometimes I love them so much, I don’t want to let them go! Our daughters will soon have enough pictures to fill every room in their homes when they move out!!
I love to focus on cottages, sunflowers and seascapes, all inspired by the beautiful countryside on my doorstep and the Jurassic coastline. Although all my pieces are designed and created by me, using my own imagination, I am more than happy to take on commissions and work with photographs, if there is something special you would like me to create.
