Materials and Haberdashery for Textile Art
Textiles are my life beginning as a child learning from my Mum and sewing my clothes from the age of 10 and learned the basics of patchwork. I taught textiles in secondary schools in the 1970s and worked with community groups in Papua New Guinea. I completed my C&G stitched textiles (Patchwork) in early 2000s and qualified as a quilt judge. I love sharing the skills I have learned and still teach small groups in my studio in Weymouth along with developing my craft with patterns and kits for others to enjoy.
