Entry Specifications

You may enter a maximum of 3 items in each of the Craft sections. There is no limit to the number of Craft sections that can be entered. Please use a second form or contact the Entries Secretary should you wish to enter more than 5 Craft items in total.

You may attach to your work a label no larger than 10.5 x 15 cm (4” x 6”), with details of materials used and sources of inspiration but not including your name. This information along with the finish and overall presentation will be taken into account by the judge.

Copyright must be acknowledged where applicable.

How to complete the entry form

Please remember to complete the Form for Judged Competitions with all the information required.

Column 1Enter the Craft Section identification code from the drop down list – e.g. BW for Beadwork
Column 2Enter code from the drop down list:
OROriginal (designed and produced without using a commercial pattern)
PAA commercial pattern (instructions from leaflet/ book etc) has been used.
APAdapted (commercial pattern used as starting point and then adapted)
KTKit
AKAdapted Kit
WSProduced in a workshop with a tutor
Column 3The title/description of the item (max five words)
Column 4Leave blank, except if entering in Patchwork or Quilting (see section instructions)

The information you supply will be captured electronically and used to produce labels and a summary form. These will be posted to you along with some flyers which we ask that you use to help publicise the event.

If you have any queries or require a print and post version of the form, please email the Entries Secretary (entries@dorsetartsandcrafts.org).

Also, please inform the Entries Secretary in advance of handing-in if the work is especially large or difficult to handle.
